|
|
I have downloaded Aires de services camping cars from campingcar-infos . com
When I view the OV.2 file in POI edit I have 2168 places.
When transfered to my iphone, it works perfectly well, but there are only 1727. I use POI viewer on the iphone
Any ideas?

Just a guess...
Does POIViewer have a "horizon" function where it only shows POIs within a certain radius of your current location?
All of the new "NAV3" TomTom hardware models do that, and it's incredibly annoying. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

Got an actual download link for the POI?
(My French isn't good enough to find it on that site you linked to! ) _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

Sorry, My French is terrible too, hence the confusion.
The POI came from here
http://www.i-campingcar.fr/gps.htm but you have to enter an email and they email it to you.
Thanks |

OK, probably not worth me doing that... I was only going to see how many POIs were listed if I opened it in a PC program like POIEdit.
It might have been of some academic interest but of no practical help to your problem! _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |
