|

I have Telmap 5 running nicely on my Blackberry 8900 and have used it for a couple of local trips in the car just to get the feel of it.
I am very impressed with the facilities, it seems a little slow at route recalculation, but I can live with that.
My biggest problem is that most of it's use will be on the motorcycle (audio only). This is how I used to use Amaze before it imploded.
The sound level is just too quiet, just about acceptable in the car but useless on the bike.
Are there any simple solutions like external amps ? |

Do you listen to it through the BB headset on the bike? No idea if that's how it works but if so you could get noise cancelling/boosting headset. |

Hello 1100guzzi, SyBorg,
There is no way to adjust it from within the application.
Please try to make sure it is set to the maximum before starting up.
As SyBorg asked - are you using a headset? Please make sure that the headset volume is also set to maximum.
Best regards,

Thanks for your responses, I didn't mention that I have a helmet mounted speaker system that has a 3.5mm jack and has always worked in the past.
I also play MP3's via this from the Blackberry and the volume has always been sufficient. |

And I guess if you boosted the volume you could end up exploding your ears when you switched back to listening mp3's |

I always use the side volume keys and they seem to work fine for decreasing and increasing volume.
