Presume this is an "Evesham" device?
Is it using "Destinator" software?
There seems to be some debate over this model...
THIS TOPIC says you cannot add "custom POIs" to your unit, so there is no third party database you can use.
But other topics seem to think the standard database for destinator from this site will work OK.
If so, look on the main camera page http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Cameras and scroll down to the big green and yellow compatibility chart, there are 4 entries under "PowerLOC Destinator", each with a different "click here" help file.
Although there's nothing specific for your device, maybe one of those will give some hints?
To actually download the databse you would need to subscribe, so hopefully someone can give you a definitive answer before you spend your money.
Hope it works for you... |

I have a built in sat nav system for my BMW Series 5. It comes as a CD Rom. It doesn't have (at present) any speed camera information. Is it possible to get a disc with this information which would work in the car. It already has some POI information eg. petrol stations, banks, hospitals etc.
Thank you in advance if anyone can help. _________________ *****

Edited to add the all important "NOT" _________________ Jock

Thanks. Unfortunately the page is not displaying any graphics.
Did you mean "does have" or "does not have" ? _________________ *****

"Does NOT have". The icons appear but there is no audio warning or flashing visual warning. Just a static camera icon. |

Hi,
I am new here, i have been rooting through the site trying to find the stuff i want for a while now and i cant seem to figure it out.
I have a HTC Touch Diamond, with TomTom 7.450.9028 installed and working, and also Nav N Go iGO 8 v8.0.0.49545.
I am looking for speed cameras for the UK for both of these softwares?
Is it possible that someone could point me in the right direction?
Many Thanks for your help |

Hi and welcome...
Take a look at the big green and yellow chart on THIS PAGE
You'll see the database is available for both the TomTom and the iGo software.
I don't know much about iGo at all myself, but I know that ALL TomTom software (both on the hardware machines and as Navigator) uses the same version of the database ("ov2" files).
The first thing you need to do before you can download the files is to SUBSCRIBE to this site (click to go to the sign-up page). This costs £19 a year (about the same as TomTom's own (much inferior) database. But for that money here you can download as many times as you like and in as many formats as you like for both your machines.
Have a read of the instructions for both by clicking on the links in the right hand column of that green/yellow chart, and if you have any more questions after that, ask again here (or you can start a new "topic" if you'd prefer). |

Why? Where does it say you can get the files just by signing up and not paying? |

Delete your account then if you think you have been conned.
But next time try reading the information provided to you.
