:D I e-mailed Medion on Thursday evening Re: no maps for France or
spare battery shown on the site. Very nice e-mail from them today to say
They had had a very unexpected rush on all maps and spares. Those two
items are now out of stock so have been removed from the site, they will be back in stock in 10 or 11 days time. |

Having failed after two attempts at hanging on the phone, ten minutes listening to the usual platitudes at my expense... I filled in the support page on their web site. After several days there is still no reply.
The problem I have is I dropped my PDA and marked the screen, it's not a big problem as it still works fine, but I would like an idea of the cost of replacing the front part of the screen.
Maybe Medion UK haven't worked out a price for that one, or simply don't have the staff to support the product?
While the product is basically OK (ignoring the frequent hang-ups requiring a soft reset and needing a hard reset every few weeks - don't use these in life support roles...), but the support seems a little non existent.
Has anyone had a screen front replaced? |

I beleiev someone else was quoted £90 for this by Medion which compared with HP is very reasonable.
I have spoke with medion regarding there excessive wait times and they assure me that new call agents are being employed to cope with demand and that every call is answered albeit after an unneccesarily long wait. _________________ Darren Griffin |
