Q: My i3 seems to miss out voice commands or have words missing from it's repertoire! Help!
A: When the i3 is first set up it installs all the voice files for the specific language that you select. Things go wrong if this process is interrupted (usually by our own impatience!) and not all the voice files are loaded. The easiest way to fix this is to go to the settings and change the voice language to something different (e.g. 'American English') and then change it back to 'British English' - this will reload the British voice files but it takes a while so be patient this time!! |

It's worth noting that firmware v2.70 has a percentage complete display whilst it's installing the voices, but earlier versions just sit there and appear to be doing nothing.
As MaFt says above, the process can take two or three minutes, so bear that in mind - and just be patient ;) |
