Support for WM5.0 handsets including the Orange c550 and QVGA displays, see here.
Unusually you can only install this update using a Card Reader. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks for the heads-up. I ordered TTN5 for my new Palm TX a few days ago, so hopefully I'll have it by the end of the week.
I looked at TomTom's site, but didn't see this question addressed. There is also a 5.1 update available. Assuming that I get 5.0 shipped to me, do I need to do the 5.1 update first, followed by 5.2, or does 5.2 include 5.1?
With my camera firmware updates, they're usually cumulative, but it's not clear if that's the case here.
Thanks. |

All version updates are cumulative so all you need is to install the latest available update. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks for pointing this update out. I updated but I can't see any improvements. Are there any changes other than phone compatibility?
In addition, I notice that:
http://www.tomtom.com/support/index.php?Language=1&FID=3571
has a picture of the 'Show version' update screen showing
'GPS driver v1.21' but mine says 'v1.20'
'Islands map v563' but mine says 'Great Britain map v562'
Does that mean that my driver and map are each one version behind? |

That is PocketPC version or not?
This update is for TomTom MOBILE 5.20 for Smartphones and Nokia phones, not for Palm or PPC |

Since I'm running TTM5 on a Nokia 3230 which as far as I'm aware doesn't have a QVGA screen then I should not install this upgrade, right? |

It won't harm buit neither will you see a benefit as I understand it. There may be minor bug fixes, I'll see if I can get a full list of changes in v5.20. _________________ Darren Griffin |

My phone sometimes resets itself when running TTM5. However it's not a common thing, it happened last night but it was the first time for about 5 months.
I would upgrade if this would improve reliability, but I don't want to go to all the hassle if it won't. |
