ok download cameras save to folder on pc put card in card reader and open great britain maps on card

replace card in ppc and go to enable points of interest and enable these cameras with a tick ,this is the simple way to do it |

As others have said, don't worry about the other files. Just follow the instructions and you will be okay.
All you should be copying to your GO is the .ov2 files and .bmp files that you want. Nothing else.
The other things are for an application to log camera locations, don't worry about those. |

Hi phinic20,
Belated to the forum!
There are some guides that should be read (in the following order):
The beginner’s guide to the PocketGPSWorld camera database.
This explains about the different camera types and about categories and subcategories, so that you can decide how you want the database on your unit.
Depending on whether you have TomTom Navigator on a Pocket PC or TomTom GO, please read either:
How to install (camera database) POIs to TomTom Navigator 5.
This guide explains how to load the PocketGPSWorld camera database onto a Pocket PC running TomTom Navigator 5.
How to install (camera database) POIs onto a TomTom GO, Rider, or One.
This guide explains how to load the PocketGPSWorld camera database onto your TomTom GO, Rider, or One.
The above guides may look lengthy and complicated when first seen. However if you grab a cup of coffee and read each one thoroughly then they should make sense as they have been written in a step-by-step way, for ease of reading.

I’m not sure whether the TomTom One can currently run POI Capture, probably not if the TomTom One is running software version 5.420.
However we do want as many people to install POI Capture as possible. Then when you pass a camera site, please capture it and then send in the details using the following URL:

Each .OV2 file is a database file. An .OV2 file can be a full category or a sub-category speed-zoned database.
For every .OV2 file you place in the map folder, you will need to place an identically named .BMP file (in the same map folder) to show the location of that type of .OV2 file on the screen.

Hi phinic20,
to the forum.
I'm glad you got everything sorted in the end - well done.
I know you only did it once so it's probably unlikely to happen again anyway, but could I make a polite request that you refrain from posting in capital letters in future as it appears as if you are shouting at people, and also makes the post extremely difficult to read.
In fact a lot of people tend to skip posts which are solely in capital letters for the above reason, so it actually has the opposite effect of attracting attention to the post! ;-)
Regards,
Bo Peep. _________________ TomTom 730
