Hello, I have some problems with GPS receivers .
I have 10 devices with gps reciver- (model- fastrax upatch 300)
Each receiver receives a different number of satellites in same place and same time. Sometimes there are recive satellites and those who do not.
1. What is the reason for this?
2. What is the life of this reciver?

Q1.
Who knows. But a possible reason could be that the local oscillator in one can affect others causing problems with reception.
You need to separate them by several feet at least.
The various receivers might (will likely) have different sensitivities.

There are several different lots of positioning sats (GPS, Biedou, Galileo, Glonas etc. Some of your devices might be using more than one system, thus more sats.

But it seems that you have 10 of the same so that appears to be irrelevant. So back to my first idea.
Q2.
Until they fail.

When you say same place, how far apart are they? They are line of sight so some sats could be blocked at the time for some receivers. There is also maybe multipath happening where reflected signals interfere with the direct. This could make the receiver lock onto another sat of better signal strength.

If they are very close then I agree with the last answer.
(I assume, as I don't know the model, that the antenna is in the box and you have nothing sophisticated with a detached antenna.)

I definitely cannot improve on the Q2 answer.

Cheers

We are all talking to ourselves as OP hasn't given us the courtesy of returning since his first post. Shocked
