Thumbs Up Yes, M8 told me that yesterday.

The bottom line here seems to be that the data is held per frame but getting at it is something else.

Need a hexadecimal display tool to investigate, and some knowledge of what you're looking at, which I don't have.

M8 calculated that at 60mph the position will change by about 200 feet each second.
No he didn't. 60MPH is 88 ft/sec. What he did say was that 1 second of latitude is about 100 ft. and 1 second of longitude is about 100 x Cos(lat) which at 50 degrees N or S is about 65 ft.

Rough calculation 1 degree of latitude = 60 nautical miles (nm) by early definition. Therefor 1 min of lat = 60nm/60mins =1 nm. 1nm is approximately 6,000 ft. so 1 second of latitude is 6,000ft/60secs = 100 ft.

If you want to upload a short video somewhere that I can get it I could have a look later to see if I can find the GPS data. I have a hex editor and knowledge of the layout of the mp4 files and several dashcam data formats. Are you just trying to verify that the GPS data is being recorded or do you need to extract the data?
