Smarlink Camera Subscriptions - Android

Has anyone subscribed to the Smartlink camera subscription and found that this has now been removed from their account.

Fired uo the smartlink app today and noticed the camera subscription had been removed and now dont get any camera notificaions from garmin except for the demo ones.

I did see somewhere that they were giving the cameras away now ?

If they are then a subscription is not required.

Could be totally wrong of course.

I had a subscription on the smartlink app for the Cyclops premium cameras, now u don't get any speed cameras through the app, which seems to be because the new models have lifetime cameras. I have logged this with Google as had that so never had to pay on my device itself. Received no notification through the app to say they removing the subscription

Logged issue with Garmin and Google as looks like Garmin have removed camera features from the app on play store but still advertise as a paid service. in the app no cameras are listed anymore and when click on info you just get the standard display of what the icons are. This means you are back to the demo cameras that are originally installed on the device.

This is bad especially for others who may have purchased and require the app for their smartlink only devices.

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
