I also think that Amoeba is a crank and a troll, and I would have expected you to agree, given your earlier points.

Dales.

+1 Thumbs Up

Perhaps to be clear we can confirm that although your name begins with D, like mine, we are in no way related and are separated by over 200 miles so unable to indulge in bribery. The only basis for your careful, obviously considered, accurate judgement is being located in a posh part of God's Own County. Perhaps we can pass you Chalk and Blue Cheese's posts to ask Mother Shipton to set them in stone for posterity? Very Happy

Seriously? I don't, and I could cite other examples.

Whilst most of us can see both sides of the speed kills argument. Those who actively support reducing speed limits as a utopian solution to road deaths are completely blinkered to any other possibility. They are unable or just unwilling to consider any other view.

Perhaps a poll would be more appropriate

Let's not be silly about this. What do you think this place is? A democracy?

So do it then. You already have clear votes on your opinion from Mcwarre, Amoeba, Bmuskett, yourself and Philip, a pretty encouraging start. Give us a link here please, so that we don't miss it. Then we can leave this thread back on topic.
