Hi,

Can any one tell me what URL to use in the "also run".

What do i enter for the custom URL to run GPS Navigation 2 at the same time as the GPS Cameraalert App?

Thanks in advance.

'GPS Navigator 2'? Is that the skobbler app?

If so then it doesn't seem to have a custom URL scheme set up so it will probably not be possible.

Yes it is the skobbler app. Not to worry.

Thanks for the post.

are there any plans to make the warnings more like the kind of warnings you get on the Novus Rider?

"warning speed camera 500 yards ahead, limit 30 miles per hour"
"warning you are entering an average speed detection area"

You can have whatever warnings you like if you are able and prepared to make them.
Also, as well as the "official" voice packs, there are several older versions still available on this page:
http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/speed-camera-and-poi-voice-alerts.php
in formats suitable for TomTom or Garmin units and others which use mp3, wav, or ogg format audio files.

These were created by uses and some were made when various camera types did not exist (eg 20mph camera types) so there may be some missing files in some of the versions (but you can just copy and rename one of the generic files).

CamerAlert does EXACTLY this on iPhone - slightly different wording and you set the distance to camera yourself by defining the number of seconds warning you want.
