If you are happy with this then fine but if you read the reviews then most folk are not happy. The interface for iPhones needs updating - this one is 3 - 4 years old and believe it or not, technology has moved on. Cameralert is not fit for purpose on iPhone 5 upwards running the latest IOS. |
The black bands are a known bug with iOS9. They were not present in the final beta for iOS9 but the final public release caused them in the app.
We've had on-going issues with Apple for quite some time with regards to app updates as they keep changing the rules on what we can and can't do (then when we meet their new arbitrary rules they change them again...)
Can you give me a link to the page that references iOS 4.3?

References to use Cameralert on IOS 4.3 and above are to be found within the app information on the Apple Store.
Come on guys; does anyone still use IOS 4.3; at least give an update as to current progress of a proper upgrade to Cameralert!!!!!! |

You weren't much impressed with me having iPhone 6S Plus because you still use a 5. Yet you raise an issue about CamerAlert being advertised as compatible with iOS4 and above. Isn't that a normal thing to advertise? Saying it's compatible with 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 4.6, ..... 8.1, 8.2, ..... 9.0, 9.1, 9.2, 9.2.1 would surely be a bit OTT? Isn't that why "Compatible with iOS 4.3 and above" is the normal description. Should I complain that it doesn't say "Compatible with iOS 9.2.1" and "Compatible with iPhone 6S Plus"? Come on guys, does anyone still use iPhone 5S? _________________ Dennis

Hi Dennis
My reply wasn't to you but in any case, my apologies as I thought you were being helpful & constructive. Clearly that's not the case and as such I won't bother with a reply.
I just remember the poster in our IT Dept that read:
"Never, ever argue with an idiot as they will only drag you down to their level and will win every time"
No help at all on this forum - about the same as Cameralert. |

Ah yes. My IT department had a similar rhetoric poster which read "When did you stop beating your wife?" I have to say I thought it equally pointless. _________________ Dennis
