Due to iOS6 limitations I can no longer copy speedcam or poi ov2 files to my iPhone so am trying the CameraAlert instead. Works fine but if I close/background it I get nothing? If I do the same with the TomTom app then this continues to give me instructions. Am I doing something wrong? It would be ideal to have TT working normally and the CameraAlert warning me in the background.

It should run just fine in the background as that's what it is designed to do. What phone are you using?
