Navigon Android UK

+++ New version 4.6.0 is now available +++
+++ Promotion on app and in-app “Urban Guidance” until 08-10-2012 +++

Not sure if same offers apply to other, eg European, versions

Cheers for the info.

Just checked my European maps and downloaded. £2.85. Quite a lot of the larger cities covered throughout Europe, even Cardiff and Bristol get a mention.

Not sure how wide the coverage is within each city, but for the money I'm not going to complain.

Mine cost £1.95 - perhaps because I bought the UK version initially and then added the everlasting map updates for Europe. Description says it will work for any country you have maps for so hope it will work the other side of the Channel!

There is a full list of all cities covered in Europe but you have to go to the in app Shop to see it - I tried doing a screen shot to post here but it wouldn't work inside the Navigon app. Note that it needs a 'live' connection but don't know whether this is full time or just at the planning stage - when I can just use my home wifi. Must plan a trip to Cardiff to check it out.

Think I need glasses! Mine cost £2.35 for the European maps.

When I was waiting for the download etc, read through some of the blurb, and sure it said that a data connection was required.

Just had an email from Navigon as follows:

Included functionality:

Easily get directions to anywhere in the city using all available public transit options
Customize your route by selecting just the transit options you’re interested in
See a detailed itinerary of your route, including which stops you need to pass before disembarking.
Route lines are coloured on the map to match colour on local transit map diagrams.
Step-by-step textual guidance.

4,99 EUR reduced to 2,99 EUR

So looks like I got a bargain at £1.95!

Good for you. Don't let them find out, they may try and claw it back!
