Tomtom go 700 can u update maps

Hi, I have a tomtom go 700 and was wondering if there was any way to
Update the maps on it.

Yeah I have done that but the map seems out of date, I went to Doncaster and the sat nav never recognised certain roads, I paid 40 quid to tomtom

What map did you update the Europe or UK&ROI, if it was the latter did you select it on the device from Change Preferences/ Manage Maps/ Switch map - Mike

Yes you can
I always try to keep my 700 updated and the latest is the V895
No idea on the roads round Doncaster though
