The Garmin Montana

Does anybody on the forum know if the data base works with the new Montana.
The unit i believe is based on the Oregon which is supported.
I have downloaded the database, and can find it on the unit in the 'extras' section, i have enabled proximity alerts but can not see or hear any prompts from the unit.

I have it configured with a Nuvi dashboard display, but I am unsure if the unit supports it.
