I downloaded Camera alert to my iphone 3g but cannot get the internal gps to work. I appreciate that it will not work indoors and there may be a possible conflict with wi fi. I disabled wi fi and tried it outside - no joy. The internal gps however works fine with the supplied 'maps' app. The gps icon refuses to turn blue as indicated in the instructions and of course this means the app is totally useless. What is going on-please help?

when you first launched the app it will have popped up saying 'do you want to allow cameralert to use your lcoation'. it sounds like you said 'no' to that.

if you go to settings / location services then scroll down the list make sure that 'cameralert' it set to 'yes' to allow it to use gps.
