I have an SD card with the USA map (V815.2022), we are off to California for a road trip this summer. Shall I get a newer version of the US maps, or should mine still be ok. BTW, what is the latest version for the US map that would work on my TomTom v7.910? Thanks in advance.

Is this a Pocket PC based product you are trying to update? If so the only TomTom USA maps for the PDA platform are v775 I don't think they ever released anything any newer - Mike

The same applies to units running Win CE which is what you have got, TomTom no longer support the PDA/ Win CE with newer maps than V675 for USA - Mike

Thanks Mike. Would this be a better option. I could have it delivered in the US to save maybe on P&P:

The PDA might be a better bet but I would ask the seller what version of maps are installed to the device they are selling - Mike

Maps are from 2009, total cost delivered to an address in California where we are staying would be around ~£40, I may stick with mine as it is, we used it 2 years ago in Florida and did not have major issues. Thanks for the help Mike.

Mikes right...I'm still running 675/1409 and to be honest I 've yet to run into a problem, (and that's with many US/Canada work related and a recent pleasure trip under my belt.)

Thanks! I won't be spending any money then.
