Yep that's the same with a lot of the OX postcodes and the WD ones, not to mention a whole bunch of others. Not really a good excuse for that, unless the P.O. are charging an arm and a leg for the database. Even then, if you purchase the Great Britain map, it seems to me you're paying a fair bit more for much less coverage than if you bought the maps of Europe?

Typical. If you compare it Germany or France then yes. But of course, the Benelux disc will have even less than the UK.

. . . the tone of the reply from TomTom was NOT customer friendly.

What part of thier reply was not friendly?

As I said, the tone.

Words like "we understand how frustrating it can be to find an inacuracy........", or "we appologise for the error......." might have helped. There was no hint of regret that the data was causing their customer (and remember, if one complains, you can take it as red that 100 feel the same but can't be bothered) to be dissatisfied.

As a one off example, I'd put it down to language, or a bad day, but it's not - the whole attitude that TomTom project is one of "we're big, we're growing, we've got your money, so like it or lump it". I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and concede that it's not deliberate, or even any deeper than the public face of the company, but they do need to look long and hard at how they communicate.
