View ranger and Ipod touch

Hi I have an Ipod touch and a Maggallan tough case with GPS, just wondering if I could use the viewranger app with this, thanks for your time.

Hi there, just saw your post.

I swear by viewranger for hiking out and about. Ipod touch supports GPS over bluetooth - but doesn't have them built in. If you pick up a bluetooth GPS you can use viewranger as normal (although the GPS part prob wont fit in your case)

If you just want to use it for a casual walk eta, you could download viewranger onto your ipod, but just use it to cache topographic maps.

sorted the tough case has a gps already and it works only tried with mm at the moment but should work thanks for the advice
