Map Consolidation

Just received my new SD card back from Satmap today.

I had my North and South UK,1:25 000 maps of the Lakes,Peak District,North Yorks ( West ) and a custom map of the whole of East Anglia all put on one card.

Makes it very convenient as I can keep the one card in the unit all the time now and any extra maps in the future I can have added to the card.

A very good price I thought ,£14.99 for the whole lot inc. P & P.

Had them toggled as well which I must admit is more useful than I imagined,bit more pricey though at £48ish for 5+ maps.

I certainly echo the benefits of consolidation, but don't find toggling of any noticeable benefit and considerably more expensive (I've had 4 map cards plus 2 custom maps consolidated & toggled). If i had the choice again i'd save the £90 it cost me...

I'm up to 8 maps on one card and have another 10 in front of me which I think I will forget about adding on ! My concern is 'what if?'....what if I lose my A10 or it gets stolen ? How do I try and convince the insurance company without loads of hassle.....could be a very expensive claim.
