yes, the fortunaxtracv202.s file is missing. It's not in the zip file as inidcated (closest matching one that is).

Please email it to me too. Use the new flash program and follow the instructions. It says you have to use the floppy drive for some odd reason.

Also, don't forget to put your gps unit into XT mode before turning it on to flash it. This is required because there are actually two different chipsets in the fortuna/belkin unit; one for ST and one for XT.

please send me firmware.

Hi Folks....
I have been reading this forum since I got my Clip-on and thought it time to get involved..... I have downloaded the firmware upgrade which now contain the bin file..... Thumbs Up as of this morning..... 10.7.04
However I am also getting the similar errors to the rest of you 'flash fail' 'target not responding'...... it would seem the errors are not damaging the clipon despite the warnings in the instructions.

Has anyone yet emailed Fortuna with the problems we are coming up against?

Thanks for help and advice in the past, now perhaps I can do some of the running around sorting things out.....

regards Happy

Yes, I emailed Sylvia at Fortuna about the problems yesterday as soon as I had convinced myself that it really was a problem with the software, and not something I was doing wrong procedurally. I am sure others have contacted them also. We probably won't hear any more from them until Monday now, but they should be on the case.

Si.

I confirmed the new firmware is in the ClipOnSyncBT.zip file. However, I like all the others, have the same problem with "target not responding..." message.
