Hi Chaps.
Occasionally, but still often enough to drive me up the bloody wall, during a call the 'line' breaks down with a continuous echo of whatever the last word spoken prior to the break down, being transmitted through the TT.
The only way to stop this echo is to reset the TT.

Any ideas on what causes this..or is it just 'one of those things'?

Cheers

DNN

You could load Navcore 8,302 which has better Bluetooth support but then you lose the FM Tx capability, even the latest 8,351 isn't very good for mobile phone support resulting in the type of crashing you have experianced. Alternatively consider a dedicated Bluetooth Handsfree kit as these tend to work far more reliably than the TomTom devices (iO-Play is what I use, others have gone for the Parrot) - Mike

Thanks Mike (hope you are good..by the way)
I've got a parrot..but for some reason the Mic quality is piddle poor...(installed as a sweetener, after the big ends went on the car..at 4k miles!!).
I'm not too fussed about FM transmission (I lost it for ages, then did an update & it re-appeared!!), as I use the Line Out function.

Will hunt down Navcore & see if it's any better.

Dave, to save you looking here is 8,302:

8,302

Or you could try 8,320 which quite a few of us were using to eliminate the stammering voice:

8,320

Eitherway, make sure you have a full back up before messing around with the Navcore loaded, use WinRar to install the downloads straight to your device - Mike

Thanks Mike,
all done & appears to be dusted.
With the exception of the 'stammer' (my late dad had one of those..I used to paste him at 'snap')..what additional features/benefits does this version of navcore have over previous (if any?)

In the case of 8,302 when combined with a later v8xx map you get the benefit of IQ Routes, reality view and advanced lane guidance.

In the case of 8,320 when combined with a v8xx truck map you get all of the above plus vehicle profiles that will produce a route depending upon vehicle size, weight, width etc - Mike
