I have a One XL Live IQ with W&CE maps installed and have had a number of "issues and challenges" with it since I bought it.
Most of the problems stemmed from updates but after deleting the ephem folder with Navcore8.4 it solved these.
My problems began again when I updated to Navcore 9.053 where my device would think it had a full satelite signal when I was in a different area than I actually was! The device would then restart itself and all would be ok for about 4-5 power ups and it would do the same.
Eventually I restored a backup from before the troubles with Navcore 8.4XX and it worked fine. I then updated again to Navcore 9.053 and the restarting issue was back!
My device also developed a Live Traffic issue after updating my maps and in the end TT wanted it back. It returned today with a letter stating that the problem was an accessory and not the device so I have a new USB lead or charger (not sure which, they didn't say but I had to include both when I returned it)!
My current application version is 8.413 and home wants me to update it to version 8.414 (I think). I imagine it will keep updating until I am on 9.054.
Before I do this I wanted to know if the restarts are normal for 9.053 and are they present in 9.054 or is there an issue with my device that TTCS have overlook, I find it hard to believe that it was the lead!
Thanks.

Mine reboots too, often soon after first switch-on, or when first given a route to calculate, but not exclusively - it will reboot en route too. There have been posts accusing the acquisition and/or renewal of HD traffic data. I don't know of a solution, but the idea that it's cable related sounds like pure dreamworld!

The only benefit to me of later Navcores on it are simply that when it reboots, it no longer demands that I agree not to do anything daft with it whilst driving - previously when it rebooted, I had to agree not to be stupid by stretching dangerously to tap I Agree!!
