It does cause slight confusion Andy when the tomtom says "take the third exit" instead of "take the second exit". The third exit would of course lead you back onto the road that you entered the roundabout from. I have been correcting this using mapshare on every map version since mapshare was introduced.

I've been correcting this one via MapShare (ha ha) for ages!! |
So have I but we have to do it again each time a new map is released.

New road I couldn't link to Google maps for this one as they don't show it yet. |
True. TT must have been on to TeleAtlas for this one, as I queried how I can change the A16 from Stamford into the A1175 for when this road FINALLY opens!! |
You can change the name using mapshare. I've changed the name of the new road to A16 already (TomTom/Teleatlas have called it the A1073) I've also closed it with mapshare. I'll open it when they have finished building it! _________________ Paul |

I've been reporting this one for over a year via map share to no avail. reported it direct to tele-atlas and they actioned it in a few days, be interesting to see when it actually makes it to google & TT.

that's what mine says, take the 5th exit, which would be back to way I've just come from _________________ TomTom ONE Series 30 (v8) & TMC traffic

D'you think the M4 Westbound to Slough at 60mph is a copyright trap? _________________ Dennis

It WAS worse....
From the Parkway (A312) roundabout and all the way up the sliproad onto the M4 and for the first few miles along the motorway itself was supposedly 30mph a couple of months ago on v845 maps.
I corrected it via MapShare so it became a 71 MPH speed limit from then on!
Now on v850 the sliproad is back to 30 (it should be 70 from the exit of the roundabout) and the Motorway is back to 60.
BTW, Welcome back Dennis, hope the hols were good. |

Cheers, Andy. With the World Cup crowds blocking the internet cafe access, I never went on the pgpsw site all holiday so I have just finished going through all the email notifications.
"View posts since last visit" reports 419 - I wonder if I'll get to them all tonight, or before I get timed out? I have to start looking for a new satnav if TT are dumping POI alert support! _________________ Dennis

My 40 mph corrections always come out at 39mph. I've reported it to TTCS who told me it was a corrupt navcore and to delete and reinstall it. After doing that, and the 3 updates, it still showed 39 mph _________________ TomTom ONE Series 30 (v8) & TMC traffic

How abou the road at Middlesbrough which says take the A66 towards Southampton instead of Stockton (The road sign says S'ton). Been reporting it for years through mapshare. Still the same on Saturday.

Deleting and reinstalling the NavCore doesn't fix this. TTCS know about this problem and have done for some time. They still haven't fixed it.
Sadly the truth is the answer you get depends on who you speak to. It appears not all of TTCS is "up to speed".... |

Wasn't it due to speeds being stored in km/h in the mapshare database, and then being rounded up or down when converted to mph?
I thought that had been fixed a while ago, but I have to admit that I haven't tried to fix any road speeds for a while. |

I've tried putting 42 mph too, but still doesn't work, they must restrict it to 5 or 10 mph increments

Is it still wrong on navcore 9? _________________ TomTom ONE Series 30 (v8) & TMC traffic

Yep, always makes me laugh when I'm up there but imagine it could be a little grating if you live local. |
