route tracking/save

Hi does anyone know how to save the current route, as displayed in [show route / text] to a file or know what file this route is stored in on the tomtom Go - or recommend a tomtom device that supports this feature, or any addon/plugin.

There is no way to save the current route set on the TomTom. I wish there was.

The closest match is to create an Itineray file, which will have the route waypoints mapped out.
This can then be found in the Itn folder.
