Any one seen this ?

Just what I need cause I hate wires on my dash and windscreen !
But not compatible with my 930 
Has any one got one and will it work with my 930

That unit will not work with any x20 or x30 models of Go as they all have the application 8.351 which is not compatible with that traffic unit.

Unfortunately, 8.351 is currently the latest application supported by those models. Lots of people have asked TT to make v9.xxx available for the x20 and x30 units. We all wait and see. |

I wonder if the reception is any better than the standard TMC reciever?

RDS-TMC is local radio based, so only gives you "local" traffic - others may know more accurately, but I think it's maybe 70 miles or so, but moving forward with you. e.g. travel from London to Aberdeen and you'll first see only traffic up to maybe Birmingham, but as you travel further, you'll get more distant traffic info.
HD Traffic is both nation-wide AND more comprehensive.

HD traffic does not fully work nationwide, it appears to have England divided into around three zones. You seem to be able to receive and display traffic for around 150 miles from where you are. However this weekend for the first time I noticed that it was telling me of delays on my route which it was not showing on the map or traffic bar except as the total delay. I had long delays which I could not work out what they were until I was heading along the M4 and they eventually showed up. These were the times added by delays on the M25 but were not visible as individual delays from Devon.

I think it's based more on your route. I've had journeys of several hundred miles planned and it's picked up delays near the destination as soon as it recieves the first update. But if you look at the local traffic map, it also show delays on roads not on your route, so it's probably a bit of both.
It gets a bit confused when jams go over several motorways, eg, M4-M25-M3 and will sometimes show 3 or 4 seperate delays for the same jam until it gets it's head round what's going one and then may combined them into one bigger delay.

I drove to Dounreay last week, with RDS-TMC on one device and HD traffic on another, side by side. HD traffic told of issues all the way along the route, RDS-TMC only for part of the route.
