Not sure 850 will show any new roads compared to 845, but the UK/RoI map was a little larger and probably reflects more map information added, than roads added.

Normally, you are offered the Latest Map Guarantee one time. Once that map is associated with your device it can not be changed.
You are correct in that there has been a delay in the release of the version 8.50 map for Western and Central Europe. This can be assigned to your account (once it is released) if you can provide us with a copy of your Proof of Purchase. If you purchased the device from us, please provide me with an order number.
Once I have this information, I will be able to respond to your query more effectively. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
