I have used Vicky as my camera voice but at the Gatso 40mph sites she only manages to say Gatso 40 miles per h......., she never manages to say hour! is there a problem with the voice or is it my TT?

Is it ALL and ONLY the 40mph ones, none of the other speeds (maybe you don't get about enough to see them all)? Sometimes an upcoming change of instruction can cut off a running one. If it's only the one speed warning, I'd say it's unlikely to be the TT hardware.

Try Liz instead? (her phrase is a little shorter).

Remember, you can test the outcome by doing a demo route past the offending camera, no need to drive there.

I think OS 8.351 introduced stuttering and some cut-offs with voices, maybe it's affecting Vicky?

I must have been on the same voices, because mine used to do it too: Just on the 40mph GATSOs; everything else was fine. I always assumed that the OGG file had corrupted on my unit.

It didn't bother me much, other than as a curiosity. I've since swapped to one of the shorter sets of voice announcements, as they don't interrupt my music so much.

Thank you both for your replies, I have managed to listen to the voice via Windows media player and it is fine. I am now thinking it is to do with 8.351, since they reduced the volume from the previous software there are all sorts of problems. Shame Tomtom can’t employ proper software programmers.
Best regards
