how do I view a route on my pc

I've got the satsync software and my satmap is up to date. How exactly do I view my routes on my pc. I've transferred files from the satmap to the pc in .map and.gpx formats but none of them will open on the online map.

You don't say whether they fail to upload or fail to open, I believe the planner will only take GPX you cannot upload .MAP.

Are you trying to upload via Satsync - this doesn't work.

You could try opening the GPX in

http://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/maps/

This site has been suggested by others and it has a lot to recommend it. If it fails to open let me know and I'll forward you my email address so that I can take a look at the file.

You can also view your route on Google Earth just by dragging and dropping the .gpx file into the Google window.
