Will be interesting to see how AND's map data compares with the likes of Tele Atlas and Navteq.

Indeed it will... We at least know Google's data is reasonably accurate. Seems to me there's a seed-change going on in Nav apps - How the likes of TomTom can hope to distinguish themselves and justify their higher costs will be ineresting. If it carrys on like this, I'll be expecting a chauffeur to be bundled with a premium app!

As Google are still using TA map data here and their US data has been widely derided I'd say it's a little early to say that?

I disagree but we shall see. Google's Android app ain't great and unless we suddenly become happy with off-board nav apps (no use when you roam) then I don't think their time is up just yet.

I guess it all depends on if you can trust Navmii to deliver. They promised an in-app update facility in their current app for the PocketGPSWorld cameras but it has never materialised.
