THis is a ROM with bluetooth upgrade. But I can't get my GR-230 to work. Ultimate goal is to get it working with TomTom3, but TomTom2 would be perfect in this stage!
Does anyone know what the proper steps and setup is for the device?
I did a hard reset and installed tomtom gpsdriver 2.07 which seams to be the most stable one. I tried with no connect. THe log i have shows the following:

Your BT receiver may have been set to SiRF protocol. Try using the setup program and switch it back to NMEA. Alternatively let the battery drain completely , this should do the same trick (but may take a week or two) _________________ Lutz
I have a USB loader cable which is probably not the same as a data cable? I installed the drivers for the device on a Windows XP and Windows 2000 but both don't recognize the GPS.
How can I see from the output which protocol is on?
