o2 pay as you go

Hi all
I have worked out how to get o2 pay as you to get data the following information is needed

Access point name : payasyougo.o2.co.uk
user name payasyougo
password password
then its auto for the next two questions
then leave the final answer

I hope this helps everyone on o2

Is this to do with a TT not connecting tolive services through your phone?

I have a Blackberry Bold 9000 and my TT 720 will connect on 7.xx software to live sevices, but once updated to 8.xx it won't work any longer (i'm on Vodafone btw). Problem is documented in various forums.

Just wondering if this is a similar problem as you are stating here?

Not sure really never really been able to use o2 but i just looked at the setting within the phone then matched them to my 720 then bingo it was working i think o2 dont really give the setting out but with a little bit of know how you can do it

O2 PAYG customers only ever had access to the WAP service O2 denied access to the full GPRS service which is needed for a TomTom data connection, if O2 PAYG is now working with the server at TT then O2 must have changed their policy recently - Mike

My iPhone is on PAYG and I have full 3G access. It's not the PAYG APN that is restricted, just that you have to have a data bolt on to access data.

funny that as i have got mine working right now gives me the weather you will find it is the apn and user name and password
