I've started to use my original TTG (Classic) again but couldn't remove the TT speed cameras I installed ages ago as there appeared to be no option on the unit or on TT Home (2.7) To do this, I restored the data from the original SD card which I had saved. This worked fine but now I can't seen to set up a security PIN number as the options in TT Home (2.7)don't seem to offer it. Do I need to use an earlier version of TT Home for my old TTG?

Thanks

Dave

Can you use Operate my GO from HOME?

If you can, you set it up by using Change preferences, Set Owner.

When you tried to remove the TT Camera Files did you follow the tutorial found Here? Although it was written for HOME 2.3 it should still be applicable to 2.7.

No - can't operate my go from Home. I receive message "No Maps Found"
I have official Western Europe map installed so don't get that.

I didn't know of the tutorial but have since checked for any old stray Safety Camera POI files.

Which software version are you using?

Which Map version?

If it's an older version of the software and maps, then I don't think HOME 2.7 is of much use. Older versions of HOME are available if you want to try them. Try v2.5 for a start. I can go back further if you want.

The version numbers will help us to provide a solution.

I got it sorted - although not fully certain quite how....

I dug out my original SD card with a map version from around 2004 and system software as ancient.

I updated my TTG with that card in place and once the operating system update was in place, TTG could be operated from within TT Home ver 2.7 and I could re-enable PIN security from there.

Thanks for your help and support.
