Hi
Today when I was searching on internet for info on Asda stores I noticed that they had POI link that you could add to your GPS.
I followed link to POIfriend.com and the website had POI for just about any location you could think of to send direct to your device.
Is this site well known to other members and if so is it ok to use.
It has links on it for all the popular satnavs and how to download to your device via Home.
Sorry if you all know about this site but I am new to the forums

Hmmm... POIFriend ("PoyFriend" they call it!) seems very American. It looks like it does UK and Europe as well, but it wouldn't let me see anything unless I registered.

Have you not tried the POIs from this site? (Link on the left of this page under "Free POIs")
The Asda file for the UK shows 335 entries.

Thank you for prompt reply.
I have just been looking at site again and it looks as if it originated in usa.
I have now noted that most of our big stores have the poi logo on their sites.
My reason for being interested in this is that we travel round the country and are always looking for somewhere cheap to eat so I thought I would try and see if could put all the big supermarkets as POI and if I can do it direct it will save time.
I shall now look at the POI at the side of the page silly me didnt see them before never got that far down the page.

Thanks
