I have noticed in IGO8, that when you select metric units, the UK speed cam speeds are changed to KPH. A 30 MPH cam is converted to KPH and shows up as 48 KPH. Fine you might say. But what happens to continental cams that are already in KPH? Does it still do the *8/5 conversion and convert a 100 KPH (nominal 62 MPH) cam to 160 KPH Confused

With metric units selected a continental 100 km/h speed camera remains at 100 km/h. If you then select imperial units it displays as 62 mph.

So it works perfectly for a change. Wink

Thanks for the reply Linknet. I suppose that it 'knows' when it's not in UK then (Not a particular challenge for a GPS) and what to do with speed cams. How about that for a correctly thought out algorithm Very Happy

I think that this is somewhere in the iGo itself, same like (if you'll enable it) overspeed warning.
One more thing with location-settings for Speed Cams. Even if I had downloaded and set as 'active' speed cams warnings for Germany (this is against the law, don't do it at home, boys and girls Wink ), iGo was quiet.
