I am sure I have read somewhere on this forum problems with the track continuing from the end of there walk to home or start of next walk. Is there something that I am not doing correctly? At the completion of each walk I am going into the "Trip Log page" to stop the Active 10 from logging then go into the "Route Menu" page to "Convert Trail to Track". I then turn off the unit. The next time I turn it on is at home to transfer tthe track onto Memory Map. At this point it highlights the tracks of the full walk along with a continuos straight track line back home. I am finding this totally confussing especially have turned off both log and unit. Has anybody had a similar problems and knows how to vercome it?

It should not display that section home unless you press start again. However, even if it is doing so your actual track should be protected once you convert. Export the file you created before you went home and have a look at it on the Satmap route planner or some other package. It should be OK.

EDIT: Sorry I missed a point. You have tried exporting. I'm at a loss, I can only suggest a call to Satmap.

I think once you have converted the trail to track, you need to reset the trail data so that the red bread crumbs disappear before you press start again. otherwise it assumes that you want to continue from the last point. I do this and it seems to work fine.
