| Does anyone know where to get the free trail maps of the States? I am off to Florida for a couple weeks and badly need GPS once there. |

If you mean trial, as opposed to trail, you need to visit Mapopolis.
They have a 'Try before you buy' option, but bear in mind that the trial maps are only good for nine days before they expire. I don't know if that's nine days from download or nine days from first viewing. You could ask Lamar in the Mapopolis forum, though.

| I did mean trial - sorry about that. I could have sworn I have seen posts from people that had problems with a free version D3 given away in the States. Looks like I will resort to maps and shouting with the wife for the first time in a few years. |

Well why not try the Mapopolis stuff out? Like I said, it's a Try before you buy solution and the maps are NAVTEQ. It'll keep you going for a week, which will give you time to think of things to shout in the second week.
