Hi All,

I was hoping that someone might know the answer. I am looking at getting an Inforad speed camera detector for my motorbike. I know it is able to use thier database but that only contains fixed sites.

Does anyone know if it is able to accept the database from here?

Cheers!

SR

If you can find yourself a (out of production) Drivesmart this can load the PGPS database. It works very well for me and is highly configuable

Not the ideal device for a motorbike though, it's massive!

Some people are just plain picky and spoilt by the miniaturised products that daily flop for free onto their editorial desks

My DSmart is 5*5*2ins so sits happily in a tankbag or touring tailcone - anyway, it's a case of function over form

I reviewed the DS back in 2006 and still have one gathering dust in a cupboard but it was large even back then and it really isn't suited in any way to a motorbike.

I commend that fact that it suits you though.

Now if you think we have sackfuls of stuff landing on our desks each day you'd be mistaken. In this area few want us to test their products and reveal them for the rubbish they generally are!

...and when i do pick genuine faults then we get a nasty complaint from the manufacturer... funnily enough, i've not reviewed any of their stuff since!! Laughing Out Loud!!
