Contact Memory Map as I am sure they can supply a CAB file installer for the application which only requires Windows Explorer and a card reader to get the application to the device that you own.
Once the application is on the device you can transfer maps to the memory card using the card reader and Windows Explorer/ Memory Map - Mike |

You will probably find that your acer was issued with Activsync which is not compatible with Vista you need to update to Windows mobile device center for use with Vista, it is free from Microsoft, even my wm6 unit was supplied with activsync despite being a couple of tears after vista released. _________________ Moto G5s Plus, Sygic 17.4.8 |

Not so sure actually, thinking about it, perhaps even more than a couple or even years.
Despite this Darren i have to agree with your first answer, direct card reading is always my first choice. _________________ Moto G5s Plus, Sygic 17.4.8 |

Hi I have an Acer 530 and had to load windows mobile onto my lap top so that it would sync with the pda, you might find it automatically loads when you connect your pda or as a windows update it did with mine hope this helps Nick |

I think you need to explain what you need to sync, windows mobile center is not as comprehensive as Activesync was, I mainly use use the sync facility for syncing contacts and files on my PDA.
If you have a cab file this cann usually be installed within the PDA using its internal explorer, i very rarely use a sync application for installing progarms.
Incedently windows mobile will not sync straight off after loading it will after be configured and set up to sync to the files etc to sync initially, and covers contacts, tasks, emails, favorites, files etc.
hope this helps _________________ Moto G5s Plus, Sygic 17.4.8 |
