Long time searcher on this forum so I thought I would make my first post now

I've got the HTC Touch Diamond and installed Tomtom 6 on it - no problem (thanks to this site)
My Dad's impressed with it and has asked for it to be installed on his, which is HTC Touch PDA.
Installation has been all OK, and I've set it up exactly like it is on my Diamond, but for some reason it still claims there is no GPS device connected, even though it has one in built.
Is there a special Com setting on this device or something I should be kicking myself for?

EDIT:

Set his up on Com 4, same as on my Diamond. Even went and changed the settings in the PDA as well to match mine (after it failed to work)

Welcome to the forum, if your dad's unit is indeed the "HTC Touch" then you will need a Bluetooth GPS Receiver as this phone does not have a GPS receiver built in - I know the phone very well as my wife has been using one of these for well over 12 months.

Are you sure its not a Touch Cruise or any of the other HTC devices in the "Touch" family - Mike

You can get a decent Bluetooth GPS receiver for around £30 to £40 these days, the Qstarz unit or Holux devices being two of my favourites, although there are others to consider - Mike
