How big is the Arkon TTGO112 Mount?

I am looking for a non-windscreen mount for my TT720T and this Arkon Mount looks very interesting http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/arkon-gps-satnav-mounts-a2010.php#ttgo112.

However, my car, a Golf Mk5, has a inset key/coin tray built into the top of the dashboard. This is the obvious place to place this type of mount but the mount needs to be able to sit down into the tray.

Does anyone know have one of these mounts and can let me know what the dimensions are of the base? Looking at the photographs and doing a bit of scaling make me think that the base is about 200mm x 200mm (8" x 8") which is a marginal fit for the mount.

I have looked at several sites that list this mount and even rung and emailed the manufacturer and some suppliers. Few have replied, and the ones that have replied have not known the size.

Can anyone give me these dimensions?

The measurements given on the Buy Bits website of 210mm x 165mm were confirmed by a user in this thread.

From these quoted sizes it looks as if it will fit, so I have ordered one from Handtec, www.handtec.co.uk.

It should arrive in a few days and we'll see how it goes.
