I like to get out and about in my classic car and want to plan a route out in detail – probably during the week ready for a week end (when it doesn’t rain!) . I’ve seen and used Tom Tom’s way point system (TT5) but didn’t think much off it (too fiddly and you can’t browse the route).
So what is the best sat nav system/setup to let me do this?

Have a look at iGO8, which will do what you want. It will also optimise a route which can be saved for later, in fact you could set up and save several routes in advance. You can then browse the route/s and do a fast/slow 'fly-over'.

If you can say which part of the country you live someone nearby, who has iGO may be willing to meet up and show you. (I'm free) Smile

Thanks very much for the info. I wasn’t aware of Nav N Go. Right now I’m reading the manual available from their web site and the excellent review here in GPS pocketworld – it certainly looks like the sort of thing I’m after….. cheers
