If you click on the "Web" menu itme in the latest version on MM OS2004 then on download maps you get taken to a page where it says:

"Memory-Map Selections – Need more coverage than the standard Memory-Map range? Then use these full colour detailed maps available made to order on your own unique CD for just the area you need."

You click on the link and it takes you to the normal OS1:25K page. It looks like they are almost ready to launch "selections".

"Selections" is a product that OS were showing at the Outdoors Show up at the NEC last week.

ON the OS stand they were printing custom maps of normal size, which were centred around a specific location. For paper maps this would be great for somewhere like the Langdales up in the Lake District where you often have to carry at least 2 1:25k maps.

I am assuming that for MM it means that you can just buy the particular area you are interested in. It will be interesting to see the pricing structure of this when it comes out.
