Garmin StreetPilot i3 on a trail bike?

I have the Garmin StreetPilot i3 and although I mainly use it for my car I am thinking of fitting it to my Honda XL600V Transalp. I have already ordered bits from RAM to fit to handle bar cross beam but not sure best way to waterproof it or how successful using the StreetPilot i3 on my Transalp will be since it’s not exactly the flattest or biggest screen and it will have to be used with no volume since I wont hear it over wind noise and exhaust .
