Tom Tom Traffic Sub Expired - but I have 3 months to run!

I have a Go 300 and have been using Traffic for 3 years now. The sub isn't due to expire until the 21st of December but my Tom Tom has suddenly started to tell me the sub has expired, which is odd.

Been onto Tom Tom, they reset the account and also showed me how to do it. No joy.

Then went through the full reset procedure, including a factory reset and hitting the reset button underneath, still no joy!

The phone is talking to the unit just fine. I can pickup the weather etc. But as far as the Tom Tom is concerned, the sub has expired.

Does anyone have more of a clue than Tom Tom support does?

Software is 7.162.

Note sure how the traffic determines whether valid (I would expect from sever - but you never know)

so I would try:

Have you sync'd the time recently - maybe system clock is out.

There aren't any files with dates in the future on the sd card?

Do you have a recent backup - might be worth restoring

I spoke to them a couple of days ago. They tell me lots of people have the same problem and they haven't a clue when they will be able to fix it. They will, however, add the missing days to the end of the subscription when they sort it out. Very generous!

Mine did this a month early back in June and the rectified after a week. Then in September all but NL speedcams disappeared. It was problem at their server end, but support was getting me to do all kinds of things to my GO. Eventually put me onto 2nd level support when I said problem was their end and it was fixed almost straight away, but took 40 mins to get the wally to escalate to 2nd level.
