Hi guys,

Just been playing with Igo8 demo, (that is what the lad who's phone it was on said) & noticed the overview setting, (screen goes 2d & gives larger overview of road network when not near a turn)

Does anyone know if it is possible to have this on a heading setting as opposed to a North up setting. I find it un-nerving to be travelling up, for it to scroll out to then see I am heading sideways/downwards Razz My old brain can't cope....

Before I purchase the UK version & hang up my outdated TomTom, can anyone tell me if it is possible to change this.

Cheers Peeps

as stated in the review, the only way to get a 'track up' view is to adjust the tilt view in 3d mode so you are 'overhead'

The Demo available to the public ran out last February and stopped working on all devices. So it's highly likely it's an illegal cracked demo version.

Whilst it is not possible to change the 2D view from North Up, it is possible to change when the map swaps into 2D view (Automatic Overview in iGO terms). You can set this to any distance up to 20 miles before the next turn. So in all practical purposes, with this maximum setting, you will always see the 3D, Heading Up, view.
