mitac mio 168 australia help

hi im new so if this topic is in the wrong then im sorry...
i have a mitac mio 168 with tomtom 6 while i was in the uk it wiorked fine
just moved to melbourne switched maps ok to the oz map, but it will not pick up any satilites the spinning icon tells me its looking but will not find any, please can anyone shed some light on it.....john..

How long are you leaving it? After moving that far it might take a while to get a lock. Are you leaving it in good open view of the sky?

Make sure that you've set the clock AND the time zone.

thanks for the advice set the time left it outside for 45 mins came back and was sorted...cheers
ps ive just moved from barnsley (paradise) to oz
