tomtom ONE v2 very slow/laggy when driving

i have the lastest version of the software v7 and the lastest map for uk v7.15, i downloaded the POI from here and have about 80 of them set for showing up all the time and the tomtom camera POI. The past week the satnav is laggy and behind me when driving... anyone know of this? it doesnt like to start-up on its own unless its fed from outlet even tho the battery is full. will a reset do anything?

Use the Change preferences/ Manage POI/ Warn When Near POI function instead of having loads of POI set to display as this method doesn't load the processor up the same way.
This fault used to be applicable to the PDA devices but more recently it does seem to be visible on the PNA units, in particular the TomTom One units when heavily loaded with enabled POI - Mike

Running a large number of POIs will definitely cause the unit to run more slowly.
